The scope was to develop an SPC system to replace manual sample tracking on 3 production lines to provide more detailed analysis and statistics, as well as to replace the existing OEE system and add detailed downtime tracking to accurately identify issues affecting production capability, along with using work orders to ensure accurate production quotas were being met for the various products.

A new Ignition installation was developed to communicate with the existing PLCs, with projects for the SPC and OEE management and reporting, as well as replacing existing production line HMIs.
