Work Order Management
Track Product Progress & Stay On Top of Production
Work Order Management
Create work orders by combining separate orders of the same product into one work order within the OEE Downtime Module. This enables more efficient production of the product, without splitting it up into smaller orders.
When a work order is issued, the OEE Downtime Module can track how many products have been produced, how many are in current production, and how many still need to be scheduled. You can also manage product codes, production rates, package sizes and more that are associated with that particular product’s production process.
Track Product Progress
Work orders track the progress of production of a given product. They can span across multiple production runs of a given product. As shown below the total units to be produced for product x is x cases. We can also see that x cases have been scheduled, no cases have been produced so far and x cases are remaining. As production runs are scheduled and product is manufactured against a work order, these values will update.
Keep ERP Informed
Work order tracking helps communicate to the enterprise where production is and how orders are being fulfilled. This is a perfect transition point between the production floor and the enterprise resource planning department (ERP).
