Ignition 8.3 Compatibility

MES 4.0 is built to work exclusively with Inductive Automation’s upcoming Ignition 8.3 release, leveraging the latest advancements in Event Streams, Perspective drawing tools, and more. Since MES 4.0 is the only Sepasoft platform version compatible with Ignition 8.3, it’s a critical upgrade for customers transitioning to Ignition’s latest release.

MES 4.0 Upgrade Path

Building on lessons from past major upgrades, we’ve designed a smooth, disruption-free transition to MES 4.0. Upgrading from MES 3.81.9 or later requires absolutely no changes to your MES databases, scripting, equipment models, or live analysis. This ensures you can confidently adopt the latest technology without interrupting your operations.

Changesets for Complete Deployment Control

A key feature of this release is the introduction of Changesets, designed to give you complete control over every aspect of your MES deployment process. With Changesets, you can easily track, version, and manage updates, orchestrating precise and reliable deployments across your entire system.

• Orchestrate Deployments with Precision: Take control of your MES deployment process–define the timing, location, and team members responsible for each update. This approach ensures timely, focused deployments and maintains accountability at every stage.
• Track, Version, and Manage MES Deployments: Store Changesets in Git or other version control systems to track all configuration changes, including who made updates, what was modified, and when. This makes it simple to review past changes, revert as needed, and understand your system’s evolution.
• Enterprise-Wide Synchronization: Easily deploy updates to specific sites or across your entire enterprise with complete visibility into all servers. This ensures seamless synchronization and reduces discrepancies in even the most complex environments.

Introducing SepaIQ: Enhanced Analysis for Every MES 4.0 License

As a Sepasoft customer, you’re already familiar with our legacy analytics engine, a trusted tool that has served our users for over a decade. Now, we’re thrilled to announce the next generation of analytics with MES 4.0! You may have heard the buzz about SepaIQ Analytics and AI, but here’s what you might not know: we’re offering a free version of SepaIQ with all MES 4.0 licenses covered by active support plans. This version of SepaIQ includes:

• High-Performance Analysis: SepaIQ runs on an independent server, free from the unpredictable complications of sharing a manufacturing production server. By employing data streaming technology and efficient database storage, it maximizes memory and CPU efficiency for optimum performance.
